Nice case, not roadworthy

In fairness I didn't buy this case for it's intended purpose so my review should be taken with slight caution. This case is made for DJs to carry LPs around in, I bought this gigbag to carry a small guitar amp which weighed a lot more than a case full of LPs. The gigbag worked fairly well for me, however after a few months of constant use there was a fair bit of fraying in the corners of the stitching, and in general the case was looking a little worse for wear. However, it still worked, and protected the amp from the Scottish weather I have to deal with (rain, rain and more rain).

I bought this Warwick bag, marketed as a DJ bag to carry 50 vinyl records, as an all in one gig bag to carry two micro bass amp heads, several leads, pedals and anything else I need on an average night of gigging.

The size is perfect. It easily takes two Markbass size heads, three instrument cables, plug board, four pedals, power supply and patch leads with space for a few more things if needed.

I bought it thinking that if it's designed to carry 50 vinly lp's, a considerable weight, then it should handle all I needed it to. It does and it doesn't. The actual bag part and straps are doing a great job, but some of the stitching on the top of the case (which is just used for opening and closing, and on the padded handle, has already started to come apart after only a few months use. So I expect to do some repairs soon but for the most part this is a good product for the price.

Good for the price..

I got one to carry my small amp to gigs, it fits quite nicely and its not bad for the price, but with moderate usage the last year or so it started to tear apart! If I had to buy again I would search for an alternative.
