Für ein Wettbewerbsstück habe ich aus drei möglichen Straight Mute Flügelhorndämfern diesen ausgewählt. Die Ansprache des Flügelhorns bleibt nahzu unverändert, der (Dämpfer-)Sound ist in allen Tonlagen gleichbleibend. (andere Dämfer waren dumpfer oder heller). Insgesamt wird, wie bei allen Dämfern, der Ton etwas höher, um die Stimmung zu halten muss kurz nachgstimmt werden, die Intonation in sich passt aber.
