Vic Firth X55A American Classic Hickory are one of my favorite sticks.
Well balanced and do not break after a few repetitions.
Good choiсe, low price and fast delivery.

Is there better than Vic Firth?
Stick choice is a very personal thing, what works for one won't necessarily work for another.
But whatever stick size you use you can be assured of quality when buying Vic Firth. They are always tonally matched and I have never once had a bent stick when buying Vic Firth.
My absolute favourite sticks for balance are the Zildjian Travis Barker signature sticks. But Zildjian sticks have never lasted longer than 5 minutes for me, they seem so brittle, especially the tips.
I've got a pair of these Vic Firths in my stick bag that have been there for over a year and they're still absolutely solid and going strong. Our band gigs every month or so and we practice every week with myself playing daily, yet I only destroyed 3 pairs of sticks all year. I've broken cymbal stands from how hard I can hit!
I did have one pair that went unusually quickly, brand new and one snapped half way through our first set, but that has been a one off and I've been using Vic Firth sticks for years!
Top all that off with the usual Thomann service and these sticks are a real winner. It would take something special for me to change sticks now!

VicFirth FTW
I've played drums since 2002 and VicFirth is still my favourite. I've tried countless brands, but the feel and consistency of those sticks is unbeatable IMHO.

Probably my new go to VF pair of sticks
Long term VF sticks user, mainly models with 5B shaft thickness, I recently discovered 55As, which I thought were better fit personally and my new go to stick. Well, not until I discovered X55A - the extra length makes a lot of difference not only for reach but personally also for balance and bounce. Standard quality from VF as expected.

Awesome sticks for a bit more power and reach!
I'm always super satisfied with Vic Firth sticks and this one is perfect when you don't need a full 5B since this is in between 5A and 5B, but need a bit more reach than 5A.
No need to mention that the sticks are perfect quality wise, don't bend, they roll perfectly and last long. That's coming from quite a heavy hitter!
