Interesting sticks, just like the player.
These sticks are definitely unique. I love the way they feel and the sound they generate from the rounded tip when playing them. Jojo's style required him to be very relaxed and loose when playing. Being highly technical, Jojo does not rely on purely the stick to provide the rebound and tone off of the playing surface, but does recognize that design does ultimately affect tone. I typically use a Steve Gadd series of stick when playing rock music and use these sticks when playing lighter types of music or desire a brighter tone from the playing surfaces. Definitely a lighter weight stick than a 5A, but with a really good balance point and overall feel unlike any I have ever played. Truly these sticks challenge me to not be reliant upon weight and other dimensions solely but cause me to consider my technical approach when executing each stroke. I recommend these sticks to any players other than hard rock and metal because of their size, but that is up to the player of course.

very good
These drum sticks are very good. They have good balance , high control and articulation. Good for pop , rock , jazz, hip hop, electronic music. Not too massive , not too thin. Nice rebounds.

A little light for me
These sticks look great, but I'm not sure they're right for me. Weight-wise they are a little light for me and also, the length is a little short for me. These sticks would suit jazz and fusion players ideally and they will be my go to stick for light play.

Great sticks, balanced and versatile
Great sticks for playing rock, hard rock and pop. Good and balanced weight with a good length, the wooden tip gives a warm touch to cymbals while still providing enough attack on the drumheads. The wood is hard enough to last for few months of heavy use, but still would suggest to get a bunch of pairs, particularly for the price.
