good for any level
I am using vandoren for many years now.
I like the way they are played easily.
The sound is also very nice.
The only change I made since I first started playing the saxophone, is to switch from 1.5 to 2 and lastly to 2.5.
Not completely satisfied with the plastic protection case they are shipped in but as a saxophone player who always carries a hard case with him, why should I care?

Best reed for Selmer mouthpieces
THE French reed. Works perfectly with Selmer mouthpieces, Yanagisawa mouthpiece and others with a French facing curve . Best known as a classical reed but can be used for Jazz as well. The 2 1/2 strength works well with a Selmer F mouthpiece, for me.
