Tuning Stability
I have installed this new Graph Tech nut, in my new Strat neck.
(replaced the neck on my Fender Stratocaster, with a maple mexico neck. for a brighter tone)
Pros:
1.The tone is great, I haven't noticed a big difference in the tone.
2.Tuning is a lot more stable than the original nut the new neck has.
Cons: not much to say on this topic.
The nut is great for strats, I haven't tried it in non strats.
would buy again if I got another guitar.

Highly recommended upgrde.
I recently bought a Delux Strat which is excellent in every way bar the nut which was plastic, cheap feeling and badly cut.
Installed this baby and the difference was amazing, better tuning stability, improved sound and took care of a buzz that had been happening onthe high E.
It took a small bit of fettling to get a perfect fit, it was slightly too long and very very slightly too wide but very easy to adjust with a file and some sandpaper.

Good Improvement
I wanted to replace the cheap plastic saddle of my Bach Stratocaster (built in 2010) with a higher quality TUSQ saddle. The GT PQ 5000 I ordered is a bit too lenght (2 mm), but it can be installed without problems and works perfectly. After I installed this the tuning of my guitar is drastically better :D
Many cheap guitars need a Graph Tech!

Fantastic Nut & Easy to Install
Bought to upgrade a split nut on my Mexican Fender. I popped the old one out and put this straight in with no hassle at all. Only slight modifications I made was to remove a little material from the bottom to make it a little lower than standard, but that us solely for my purpose. The tone is great, I use EB Super Slinkys and the slots were the perfect size for that already, however if you use a heavier guage you may need to open up the bass slots a little more.
All in all a great nut, lovely tone and easy to install, would recommend as an upgrade for your guitar!

Great performance and price.
These are a must whether your guitar has a tremolo or not. They reduce strings sticking and breakage and are easy to adjust to make a perfect fit. All my guitars and basses have them.

Also usable for Squier guitars
To use this nut with my Squier Affinity Strat, I had to sand it thinner. I used low grit sandpaper, doing just a few strokes at a time until it fit into the slot firmly.
The String distance I believe is slightly wider than the standard squier nut, but it feels great.
This nut is a little wider than the squier neck. It doesn't bother me and It'd be easy to sand off the sides so it'd sit flush with the fretboard.

Excellent product!
I was not happy with the nut of my Fender Stratocaster Player series which is made from plastic.
The Graph Tech nut was easy to shape and install, I am very pleased with the result, being a clearer sound and more stable tuning.

The one you want
Pros: This is the one nut you want for your strat. The sound is improved with this instead of with a plastic nut.
Cons: You have to file it down to make it fit.

Replacement for my 50's Classic Player Tele
To replace the synthetic nut on my guitars, I usually use bone. But in this case I tried the Graph Tech nut as an option. It looks similar to bone but it is not as hard as it. You have to carve it with care, because the nut file takes much easier material off it.
Otherwise it makes it easy to make it fit to the fretboard radius on the bottom. Tonal it makes no difference to my ears compared to bone. This is a nice option to regular bone nuts. I'm gonna see, if it is reliable as bone.
