Great!

Just what I needed for my Octatrack - got the rack ears made by Elektron via Thomann too and everything slotted together perfectly in a few minutes.

It's not clear on the description but this item does come with the screws you need.

Solidly built and just the right size with enough space underneath the unit to store the PSU, Cables, Headphones etc...

The ergonomics are vastly improved by the tilted rails, so much better than working with the Octatrack flat on the table.

I like that it has lock holes on the clasps at the side too. Nothing that's going to stop a determined event, but with a cable lock this will stop the opportunist running off with it.

Quite heavy, but that's the trade off for good protection I guess.

If you're gigging with your Elektron gear, this box is an ideal solution!

Highly recommended!

RE
Solid and safe case
Raymond E. 08.06.2017
This case was perfect for housing my small light controller, however the first had the catches too tight and they bent when enough pressure was applied to close the case.

Thomann dealt with this quickly and efficiently and replaced it with one with properly aligned catches.

It is a sturdy and well made item and does it's job of protecting the controller perfectly, with room for a power distribution strip and enough space beneath to take the leads. I use it to transport the controller in a well packed car (enen have stuff on a roof rack (but not this case) and, with some 20 years of professional experience behind me, would not worry about having it put in a van with other items.

Great first "performance case" for a small modular system!
hlprmnky 26.11.2018
My use case for this ...case is that I have two 84hp TipTop Audio HEKs that I want to be able to play out with. I have them mounted in this case and use it for both taking my case on the go and also for its "studio" use on a workbench in my office.
Pros: HEKs fit! Light, looks nice, takes stickers well. :)
Cons: With _two_ HEKs mounted, there is a small amount of unavoidable conflict between the mounted rack ears and the riser mechanism for the rails, where you can't get the _entire_ "travel" of the rails because the bottom-most ears impinge on the inside front of the case as they sweep down. You can still get a nice angle to work with, and it's not really fair to expect the case to magically expand by 3mm to accommodate special things that are "rack-mountable" but not rack gear, I don't think.
