Decent case - but READ
The Dali 09.04.2020
The case is very nice-looking, and the hardware seems fine. There are 5 latches so even if one breaks you are still not going find the lid opening up on you. Looks nice, and it is a guitar case so who really cares what it looks like. The interior is fine and fits the HB single cut I have very snugly. Almost too snug.

The biggest issue it that the headstock area is TOO SHALLOW and the edge of the headstock hits the floor of the case. This is a bad thing since if this case falls over there is stress on the neck and could snap the headstock. I put my ESP EC in the case and it didn't hit. I'm guessing that the HB headstock is TOO BIG and bottoms out. Be aware of this. If you are using this for an ESP, Epi or other brand you are probably ok because they have smaller headstocks. I won't use this for my Harley Benton Goldtop because the headstock hits the bottom of the case. Be aware!

A
A great alternative to an original
Anonymous 13.03.2016
I have ordered this case to accompany my Epiphone Les Paul Standard and I have been using ever since. I believe that the pros definitely outnumber the cons.
To begin with, it is a solid case that has never failed to transport my guitar once, that alone can describe why I still use it.
Secondly, despite the fact that it costs considerably less than it's Gibson, or even Epiphone, equivalent it doesn't feel cheap at all. I haven't had the chance to see any of the above up close but judging from what I own it is a well built, fairly priced product. The materials all feel nice and the locks are quite assuring as is the grip(which may lack a little in comfort due to my large hands and it's plastic nature).
Now, about it's drawbacks I can only think of one.
I've been carrying my guitar around the city for a while during a rainy night. Once I have reached my destination and opened the case I found out that there has been a leak. Considering that it was only some drops of water and that the case is not designed for use in a downpour it only a minor weak point for the product.
To conclude, it is a workhorse of a case that does the job more than decently.

The case feels and looks decent. The outer case is sturdy and solid. The inside padding is soft and the guitar sits snug and comfortable inside it. The only issue i have is with the latches. They feel kind of janky and they sometimes slip, but they hold together. All in all, a pretty good alternative for more expensive branded guitar cases.

Great case for your precious Les Paul
E. Tuna 31.01.2022
I bought this case from Thomann.de for my Vintage V-100 Lemon Drop because I did not want to carry it around in a soft gig bag. The case was everything I thought it to be, the weight, the lining, the quality. The only thing I wasn't satisfied was it's locks and the key provided. The locks does not seem very secure and the key is pretty thin and flimsy. But it is not a deal breaker for me because when I'm out of the house, I keep the case with me all the time. I would absolutely recommend this case to every Les Paul owner, no need to pay big bucks for overpriced brands.

Recently I got the ABS model and wanted to check this one. Beautiful case, extremely affordable. It has kind of a vintage look that really vibed with me. My purpose is to keep the guitars safe at home and I think this will do perfectly

Very solid, cheap, but too heavy
Edwin.W. 20.12.2017
This case I bought for my Orville Les Paul. It protects and fits my guitar very well. Its very solid, but a bit too heavy I think. Epiphone's cases are much lighter, but more expensive, and the skin on epiphones i too weak and scratches too easily. Thomann case is similar to Warwick Rockcase's units. I have no idea, why the brand differs. My only complain is the weight and maybe one of the locks on the bottom breaks to soon or is too loose. I have 3 pcs of thomann/warwick cases so I can tel it's a rule. But overall, great product for the price

Good quality-price ratio
manug1818 22.08.2018
I wanted something cheap to keep my new Epiphone Les Paul safe. It is making its job properly. It is a very solid and tough case and the guitar fits perfectly. The inside is quite nice and there is a useful compartment for the picks, capo, etc.

However, it feels very heavy and the buckles were very tight at the beginning but they feel softer now, though they keep working as always.

I would say it is a good case to keep your stuff safe at home, if you are thinking in something for the road and be moving with it... I don't think it is a good idea. I cannot ask more for this price, though.

Well done thing
vodkashot 27.08.2020
The case is of good quality and durable. The locks are secure. Guitar Sits very tight (maybe even a little too tight). The lid closes tightly and locks well. The carrying handle is very comfortable. Everything is glued well. There is no glue anywhere. Nice to the touch. The lid closes only slightly inaccurately. In order for it to fall into place, it must be slightly moved to the side. (Perhaps this is a feature of my specimen). I'm happy and my guitar is happy.

Great quality for this price

The case fits and protects my instrument well, is of good quality and has a handy storage compartment for accessories.

I bought my case for a Gibson Les Paul, which was a perfect fit, I imagine this would also be the same for Epiphone Les Pauls but can’t speak for other singlecut guitars.

A sturdy case which should last well
Anonymous 20.03.2015
I bought this case for an Epiphone LP-100 which is a perfect fit with just enough room to leave a locking strap attached and folded neatly on top of the body. The interior is very well padded offering a much thicker layer than my TKL acoustic case. Like most hard cases it offers a compartment with adequate space for storing a few sets of strings, picks and a tuner.

Given the price of this case the quality is actually very good with only one clasp that concerns me (the one on the hinged side in the middle) which has a tendency to open it's self if knocked, all the other clasps appear to hold well. As long as you follow the rule of carrying the case with the opening facing towards your body/leg then your guitar should never hit the ground anyway.

I can imagine the leatherette outer covering wearing away quicker than a hard covering or leather but the inside protective covering appears secure; and that's what matters.
