A classic of its kind
I've owned many black power cables, but this one stands head and shoulders above them all. The colour is inspired, and the difference it makes to my equipment when it's used is nothing sort of breathtaking. My studio monitors were way too quiet before I attached them to this, and then... wow. I previously thought those speakers were designed simply to look good on my desk, but now that I've plugged them in using this excellent cable I realise that they also make sound, which is very useful.
Top marks Thomann!

Understated
The majority of reviews focus on the expensive kit.. the new toy you've bought yourself for several hundred or thousands of your natie currency. This little cable is the one thing that gets overlooked but not any more as without it, we'd all struggle to power the hot new gear without raiding your TV stand for the power cord from your DVD player or old games console.
Great construction. Solid black so it blends it looks the part.

An Electrifying Experience
After all that non-audiophile grade cabling in our walls, preceded by many miles more of the same from the power plant, this free 2.5A 1.8 m (6 feet) power cord really makes that final connection.
While it won't make our musical instrument sound more "fleshed-out", impart a greater sense of "air" and "ease", or provide "greater dynamics" and "improved sound staging", it does a perfect job of bridging that gap between electrical outlet and instrument inlet, enabling my kids to reach for the Lang Lang sky.
Thank you, Thomann, for going that last but all-important one thousandth of a mile.

You may just need one
These days it seems less and less things use these, go back 10 years and most radio/ cassettes, TVs and many other electronics used these, however sadly that is no longer the case.
So like me, when ordering from Thomann do remember that most products will not come with a UK lead. I bought this for the Gator G-BUS-8 Multi Power Supply I bought as it did not come with a UK lead and it took this 2 pin type cable. Like I said before, these used to be very common but have since been replaced in most things by the 3 pin kettle lead, so it's always best to get a couple of these if you buy anything that uses one.
That being said, being from Thomann this is an essential cable of great quality and hasn't let me down in over a year I've had it. Being used to power my pedal board it has been folded up and unfolded hundreds of times going to and from practice sessions and gigs and still works fine, hasn't disintegrated inside like many cheap cables do and is still looking like new.
All in all a great essential cable I couldn't be without, would recommend to anyone who needs one, don't be put off this quality product by the lack of high end brand or the great price.

Reliable electricity transfer
This powercord magically allows electricity to travel from a hole in my wall to my synthesiser.
Before I had this powercord when I pressed the power on button on my device NOTHING HAPPENED!
Now though, with this sweet powercord attaching the synth to the hole in my wall, when I press the button lights come on and the synth COMES TO LIFE!!
Good sturdy powercord, does exactly what it says on the eh... tin.

Great!
The Powercord was included with my main purchase, and it is because of things like this I love Thomann! They truly care about their customers and think about immediate problems such as the different wall outlet configurations in different countries, before an item even gets to the customer.
Great Product, and an even greater experience.

Let there be power.
At first, there was no power.
With this, there was.
Pro tip: Be sure to plug it into a wall to receive power
