Decent sound and built in 2017, but second buy in 2021 is total different story
Nosnih 17.05.2017
I paid twice. 2017 is good. 2021 is bad.
2017 (old day story) 5 stars
I have set it up with a cow bone, and Savarez carbon strings, then shared this guitar with my friends.
The built quality of guitar is good, the neck stand straight, no buzz are sounded.
Then the sound quality. It's clean, there are not much harmony on the treble, i love this setting. And the bass is deep enough. For multi-voicing pieces, like playing JS Bach, this guitar sounded accurate and fast response.
But this type of guitar don't sound good in romantic pieces.
Then flamenco test, its quite amazing that when strum on it, it has a sharp punch!! The sound is raw, with deep punchy bass, nail-string percussion in high pitch, and the effect is very suitable for flamenco music.
So from this price range, in normal case, we just consider the built quality. But this guitar sounded well!!!
However, you need to play it loud with carbon strings. Soft strings sound nothing.
2021 (now) 3 stars
This guitar is no longer made in Europe, but in China. I am extremely sad.
Built quality, the fret of this guitar scratched my hand. Fretboard is straight enough to play with but one fret is bouncing out and cause buzz, but I can fix it. The neck is thicker than before which is not easy to barre a F chord, considering the fret will scratched by index finger if i press too hard.
Sound. It is louder than 2017 but noisier. The harmonic is no longer sweet but dirty. 6th string bass is louder but not deeper. This bass is not a good accomplishment for the melody. Strumming sound is no longer punchy or vivid but dull and dirty. Not flamenco style anymore.
Because it sounds dirty, it's no longer good for Bach music.
Now It becomes a piece of standard Chinese OEM guitar, poor hand feel, loud but noisy. Yes it is cheap. But when there are many good choices even here in thomann, you can find better guitars like YAMAHA C40/45(made in Indonesia) in similar price range with better build quality and more decent sound.
Beginners definitely need good guitars because they give up easily. When the guitar scratched their hand, they think that it's their fault. Ask teachers what makes a good one for entry level, they will tell you, built quality come first !!

T
Surprisingly Good!
Tobi1994 14.02.2014
I bought this guitar just to see, how good a such cheap instrument can be.
And i am really surprised! The feeling and the sound are quite well and can easily be compared with models around 200-300 bucks.
But to be honest, that was it, of course no master instrument, but good for beginners!

Good finishing and sound. But, I dont like the way they make fretboard, feels unnatural, and the fret is somehow too sharp in the edge of it.
