I bought this bag for my weissenborn style acoustic lap steel and it fits great with just a little bit of room at the top of the headstock area. The additional neck padding is super easy to remove to allow the huge square neck of my steel to fit. But if I was using the bag for a more typical instrument with a small neck then I would put the padding back in and would absolutely trust it to stay secure. The protective foam is incredibly strong and is used through out the entire bag, the straps are comfortable, the weight feels evenly distributed and the pockets provide a good amount of storage space. The overall build quality is great too. High quality zips and very good stitching. All of this for a relatively cheap price compared with other premium bags. I 100% recommend it.

Better than a hard case!
timboid 07.08.2023
After the hinges on my hard case snapped off, I was after something that could fit a small-bodied, bowl-backed 12-string.
Thomann have such a vast range of top-quality gig bags at such good value that it's hard to settle on one, but this one just ticks (almost) all the boxes from padding, build quality, and storage pockets through to weight and carry features. I have no doubt that its durability will be first class as well, but quite frankly, at this price, it wouldn't matter if it fell to bits in a few years -- just go out and by another one. Ok, not very eco-friendly doing that, but you get the gist!
My only small gripe would be that on the back, where the shoulder straps are, it would have been nice to have a large grab handle sewn into the bag instead of a small hanging ring which is rather difficult to hook onto anything due to its small size. A reinforced grab handle would be much more practical to use as both a hanging loop and whilst transporting your instrument.
Other than that, I have no problem recommending this bag.

Best bag I ever owned
RadeDomba 19.04.2017
It is a great bag without looking at the price, and even better if you look at the price. Really thick, a shoulder strap and 2 back straps that are also made of leather, hold really well and transfer weight on a decent surface size. My guitar is a western guitar, and it fits pretty well, but the headstock requires another 1-2 cm of room to fit without a problem; however, it does fit inside if you apply a little amount of force. I am a really clumsy person and I have a tendency to hit stuff with my guitar while it is in the bag on my back. It survived for at least 8 months without any scratches or markings and will probably do more in the future. All in all, totally recommend it, would buy another one if I lost the current one. Give it a chance, you will not be disappointed. Cheers for another great, cheap product by Thomann.

Great Gigbag, premium looking
pmoser 23.05.2019
If you are looking for a very good looking gigbag, look no further! This gigbag will definately stand out while still keeping your classical guitar safe. It has enough spaces for putting tuner, extra strings and other accessories and is very comfortable to use.
I bought this gigbag for my Cordoba C5-CE and it fit nicely.
If mine was stolen or I ever needed another case, I would definitely buy it again!

this bag really surprised me. For this price, I don't think I could have done better. I used it for more than one year, almost every day. it has a lot of space for accessories and feels really comfortable as a backpack.

Very high quality for the price.

Surprisingly high quality, great protection for my guitar. Thick padding and the neck-holder strap give me a lot of confidence transporting my guitar in this. Pockets and removable backpack strap are nice, plus it looks good.

Excellent quality gig bag
Jenna 04.07.2014
I own several gig bags and hard cases for my guitars. This will never replace the level of protection offered my a Hiscox hard case, but as gig bags go, it's right up there with the better ones.
At the price Thomann charge for these bags, it is a solid 5-star value item. Looks very good, the zips are strong and reliable and a year on, it still looks as good as new, which says to me that the fabric used is very good quality. All in all, a really great purchase.

Best gig bag for the bucks
spotigiay 02.12.2024
Used it several years without ever complaining.
Guitar inside feels safe, lots of pockets to store everything you need to play, I've even managed to put some clothes in it when touring without a real luggage.
Absolutely unbeatable for this price, or you can spend hundreds of euros and get a mono bag...
