A mixed bag
I have bought one a couple of years ago and used it with my old beatbass replica and I've bought another one recently for my new Höfner beatbass.
The old one fit perfectly, had no issues with it and if I had written a review back then it would've been a perfect 5/5. It has some wear and tear but it held up nicely. I don't have to worry about my instrument while it's in the case.
The new one has a few issues though. It doesn't close as nicely as the first one, I have to apply some force to the locks to make it close. At first I thought the bass was being held firm and snug inside, but after a while I noticed the pickguard is bent. The first case I purchased held it tight, but didn't press hard against the instrument, this one is a bit rough. Although I feel safe my bass won't move around too much, I fear the case might've done some minor damage to it already.
The quality of the product just isn't consistent enough for me to write a good review. I will be buying a Höfner case next time, for a few euro more I won't have to worry about the quality of the product I get.

does the job
Having gotten a beatle bass, I had few ways of carrying it while avoiding it getting scratch marks. Another thing is that I have a <300¤ hofner which isn't the most sturdy instrument ever, and even though I did get a bag with it, both also coming from thomann, there's no way I would carry it in that bag for more than a few weeks for the reasons I just wrote down. Looking at hardcases, I found this thomann one. I got to say I am not disappointed, for it is sturdy enough and it keeps my beatle bass tight and placed as correctly as it should be. The price is a bit high in my opinion, but amongst the available hardcases for my bass I think I still got value for my money. I'm thinking of someday moving on to another hardcase, but for someone who is starting out I would say this is a go. It has handle touring so far in these 5 months in which I've had it and it is also not so heavy that it can bother you while carrying it around from place to place by foot. All in all, I believe this is the choice for someone in my position.

I Love It, Yeah,Yeah, Yeah!
I needed a case to store and transport my Hofner Ignition Beatle Bass in, and the price of the official Hofner one was quite dear. Luckily I came across this Thomann made case, and placed an order for it. The case arrived very quickly, with emails informing me of its progress across Germany, to Dover, and then to Essex. The packing was excellent, the guitar case was in its own carton, and this packed inside a bigger outer shipping carton with lots of bubble wrap inside for protection.
The Beat Bass Case is absolutely the perfect size for my Hofner bass, which sits inside it snugly within a cushioned black furry material which lines the case. The case is made of wood, with a black leatherette outer skin, and the catches and handle are securely riveted in place. There is padded internal compartment with room for leads, tuner etc. I could not be more pleased, the bass guitar is safe and sound when inside, and how else could you safely transport such a beautiful guitar? And as another reviewer has mentioned, it looks really funky! If you have a Beatle bass, you need this case!

No issues
Got this case as part of a bundle deal. (There wasn't much of a difference in price but I was gonna get a dedicated case for this one anyway.) No issues here, you can buy without second thoughts about it, thanks.

A bit snug
I ordered this with a Hofner Ignition left handed bass. It was a little tight fitting it in the first time but sits in there nicely. The case does feel a little bit thin. I think it's a good case for cheaper model basses but maybe buy a better case for the higher range basses.

Perfect for the HB Beatbass
Resistant and well made, it fits perfectly the HB BeatBass. A nice and unexpensive way to protect the instrument.

Does the job
Good quality case but I had to remove some of the padding on the bottom or the cace to make my cavern base fit. All in all an excellent product.
