Easy installation
Thomas Das 09.01.2023
This is a really handy tool to support the t-bone mic. It is really easy to install and does not budge. However, if you are not carefoul, you could damage your instrument, since there is no indication for when you should stop tightening the knobs. Overall excellent tool, just use it with caution.

Fits archtop guitar

I use this with my archtop guitar in its upper bout near the strap pin. If fits great despite the slightly arched body and stays put.

Well build and useful

I had an SD System STM-99 microphone (for wind instruments) with a spare gooseneck. It fits nicely on this well build t.bone Lucan System CC 200 guitar clamp. I plan to purchase other versions (violin, clarinet,...) as it expands the possibilities for the use of this microphone considerably.

D
Sturdy but with a design flaw
David215 30.07.2024
Once again a good value sturdy mount for guitar at an excellent price. The problem is the spring operates in the wrong direction. Instead of springing open it should spring closed. With foam mounts on the jaws, these gradually relax with time. The result is you tighten the mount, the foam relaxes, then after a while the mount falls off the guitar. You reattach it, tighten as much as you dare, but the same thing happens. Now on my mount I have reconfigured the spring to close. Now when the foam relaxes the spring takes up the gap and the mount remains attached.
