Good solution
olyp 22.05.2023
We had individual cables between our wireless microphone receivers and our digital mixer, at my church, which had to be setup and disconnected every week.

To help other volunteers in my technical team, I had labelled these cables and the end points on the receivers, using rather messy looking manual labels with paper and tape. and the cables were prone to becoming tangled.

With this cable which is labelled on both ends, gone is the messy labels, and its so neat looking and elegant way - this is definitely how things should be done. It will make our setup and packing up, so much faster.

The cables worked 1st time, when I replace our old cables at church last week.

Good value

Hard to find anywhere or any way to get an 8ch XLR loom for less than this. If you're careful with it, it'll last longer but if you have to occasionally have to snip and replace an end, it's still cheaper than buying a more expensive loom.

All works, but tails make me nervous
mervaka 05.05.2015
While this loom coils well and has fairly good connectors, I'm concerned about stressing the tails too much. I'm worried that putting too much stress on them may cause premature failure. As such, I've taken precautions and cable tied the main sheath to the rack! You get what you pay for, I suppose.

Good quality connectors and cable. If you need a snake, this one is okay, but it does make a little impact on the signal. nothing too noticeable on such a short run but when analyzed in the studio, you can see a little roll off on the highs. But to be honest, in the rehearsal room or for backing tracks etc, its fine.

Desk to Radio Mics
Andrew93 30.07.2013
Great quality connectors and cable. It really tidies up the connections from the desk to wireless radio mic flight case. Easy labeling so it reduces the risk of getting the mics in the wrong order. Saves time. Great product!

Very good quality for the price

I use this multicore cable as output from Behringer DI800 Ultra-DI Pro for gigs and rehearsals with my band.

Pretty good quality. It just works. Male connectors grinds a bit when connecting XLR cables on stage.

Good for the price

This snake isn't bad, and for the price it's what you'd expect. I have to mark it down for quality, though, as the connectors occasionally get stuck in my Neutrik patch panels. I've actually had to get in there with pliers to try and free them on a couple of occasions - so, I'd recommend that this snake is great for studio installations, but I'd think twice about using them on the road, just in case you find one of the channels stuck into an incompatible connector. The outer jacket is good quality, and coils nicely, even after a bit of abuse. The exposed inner jackets are just fine, and for the price, it's pretty good.

Ok so far

basic short loom, used one for a year or so, bought another one. Doesn't look like it would survive road use for very long, but fine in a home studio or for patching in a rack.
