The GoXLR is (almost) perfect.
Encoded 17.11.2020
I am a part time Twitch streamer and was sick of using Voicemeeter as it is a buggy mess and not user friendly unless you know what you are doing. I found the GoXLR via a Youtube video and got to researching. Now finally having used it for a couple of weeks I can give my initial review.

Pros:
- GoXLR along with its software is extremely intuitive. Initial setup was simple and it is very intuitive if you need to go in and mess about with any audio settings.
- The unit is fully customisable, from lighting to sound sources.
- The faders seem to be well built. (Also motorised) ;).

Cons:
- The unit is susceptible to ground loop noise, there is nothing to mitigate it inside the unit.
- Would love to have one extra fader for headset volume (although you can set any of the faders to this, it is going to take the access from another sound source).

All in all I feel that the GoXLR can definitely help streamers who are struggling with their audio. If you have the money the full unit is fun to play with. However the mini is also good.

Overpriced- but great for beginners!

HC-Telecom's GOXLR is a great popular product, allowing you to split and control your audio on the go-live (perfect for streamers).

If you don't know much about audio equipment, then the GoXLR makes it super easy. The software itself can have quite a learning curve at first, and the body is unfortunately made of plastic instead of metal.

I'd recommend you have a big desk, and a good amount of space as compared to other interfaces, it's MASSIVE. I would personally consider the GoXLR to be a bit overpriced, today there are cheaper setups and alternatives.

Overall, I'd personally only recommend it to those who want something super easy-to-use, that don't mind paying the hefty price.

Remains great although a little outdated!

Owned and sold many GOXLRs’ over the years, I use it mainly for live singing and controlling my audio channels easily.
I really like this device, it doesn’t fail me very often considering how heavily software-based it seems. I also love the real time effects, that -for me- is the most useful feature, it exists on no other interface as far as I’m concerned. The preamps are fine, the mixers are great, the sampler and routing system work really well.

I don’t know how highly I’d recommend it though given its’ now lack of support (from the official team). But I like it a lot personally!

GOXLR Offering good sound quality and services for streamers but you cannot turn it off unless you unplug the cable or but it on the sleep profile before turning off the device , I hope they will fix that with the next version or update the firmware and adding new future to turn off the goxlr .
