Effective for 90% Of My Needs
Great little clamp and great idea. I find myself using these clamps on the vast majority of my cymbals and stands (as indicated in the subject) and they do a great, sturdy job to the point where you forget they are there! As expected, very quick release and application for quick cymbal changes etc.
My only problem is that sometimes, you just need a good old wing nut as unless there is a good area to clamp onto, the Tama Cymbal Mate isn't going to hold as strong as traditional methods.
All in all, worth a go, especially considering the price!

Quick and easy
Just press the red buttons simultaneously, put it over the end of the cymbal bracket and release the red buttons. No more troubles with screwing the wing nuts, this is the easiest and quickest solution! These cymbal mates may be more expensive, but trust me, especially after a show you're happy you use them.

Revalued Product
Nothing interesting, ordinary plastic. Durability and strength are a big question. And a big overpayment for the brand

Very useful if you need to swap quickly
Especially when playing with other bands, it's very useful to save time in mounting/dismounting the cymbals. Price is ok

A nice luxury
I've resorted to no felt on top, out of laziness. On the occasion that I need a felt on top, I much prefer a quick lock nut rather than screwing on. These Tama ones are among the best I've tried

Tama cymbal mate
I like this Tama accessory, it saves you having to un screw the wing nut on cymbal stands which can sometimes fall on the floor after loosening , if you use the cymbal mate instead it just clips on and off and less chance of it falling on the floor after you un clip it, and allows you a quicker mounting of your cymbal. Very handy, would recommend
