You are getting what you are paying for
I own this guitar for six years. Besides the tone and build, what impressed me from day one was the sustain and the sound of the bass strings. Having owned cheaper instruments over the years, these were the things I was missing. It sounds great powered as well, besides the tone settings, it has the "cool tube" that makes the sound fuller, like being powered by a tube amp. Its sound is not as "full" as a big jumbo would sound like, more "delicate" I would characterize it. I know there are better instruments around, but at this price range I don't think I could do better. Oh, and it is a beauty to look at!

Heaven
I have walked through my life hearing an acoustic guitar sound in my head from the many references in music I have been listening too, and then I heard this guitar played by a singer/songwriter in Linköping-Sweden singing her own songs and I realized that this was the one I have been looking for. Strong personality with highest quality in both acoustic and amplified sound. Now I own the guitar by myself and enjoy every minute I play it. I'm in heaven :-)

The perfect workhorse guitar
Takamine TSF48C is the perfect workhorse guitar. My favorite Takamine Preamp. It?s heaven on batteries, but it sounds very good so it's worth it .

Fabulous guitar; the materials, the wood, the electronics, the feel, the touch and, most of all, the sound, so full. Yes, it is pricy, but what you get is totally worth it.

Takamine lover
I fell in love with Takamine when i bought my LTD 2009 years ago, This Santa Fe is as good as that guitar! amazing sound and playability! It sounds even better when it is plugged in!
