At this price point, you're unlikely to find better headphones for recording purposes. Sound quality is pretty good, although for regular music listening situations, I'd personally dish out at least twice as much money. However, for recording live instruments, the sound is more than clear and balanced enough, and the sound isolation is probably enough for most people. Loud drums might still come through a lot, but if you play drums super loud, you're probably not too worried about having to push the headphones loud as well.
Reliability is a bit of an issue, which should be not suprising to anyone considering the price. With careful home use, these might last better, but in a more active enviroment, plugging the headphones in and out of headphone amps etc, you'll be looking at maybe 1-2 years of use out of a pair, which is still not that terrible. But with the more expensive industry standards, you're probably looking somewhere between 10-15 years of active use and even longer with proper care.
On a budget, these are possibly your best option. They won't last a lifetime, but will get you started.
