Perfect device if you have optical output.

Purchased the device to connect cd player to a bluetooth speaker.

Tested both connection methods (optical input & analogue (3.5mm) input).

Analogue input produces small but noticeable input lag (therefore wouldn't be suitable for TV or movies), but also a quiet but notable hissing.
Optical input however has no lag and perfect sound quality.

So use optical input if you can and you’re all good.

Build quality, accessories, packaging and instructions are also what you would expect from Sennheiser (all good).
