Expensive for what it is + stupid PSU, but has no other real alternative.

I use it for submixing synths and effects for live setup for about year. Durable and good sounding mixer with very good phones amplifier (DT770 250ohm sounds nice and loud). Pots are solid but stiff, so no fast changes, more like set-and forget (I rather use volume pedal).
But the PSU is BIG problem with this unit. All the pictures here in thomann and manufacturers site says unit is powered by 12V DC. In fact, on back of real unit is label 15V DC, and in the box you get 15V switching mode power supply. But included PSU generates a lot of noise, so it is totally unusable for anything! I tried to power it by 12V - but headroom is greatly reduced and i perceive worse sound quality. Only option is to get transformer-based 15V PSU which is hard to get (thomann do not sell any), so get this before using mixer, also the real price is higher.

Unit is also picky about jack connectors, cheap patch cords for example. Connection is wobbly and interrupts the sound which is also annoying.
Maybe other mixers in this price range can do better job finally if you do not need lot of stereo channels.

This Rolls MX 122 compact stereo mixer is ideal for combining multiple audio signals, either in mono or stereo via 1/4" Jack plugs. I’m using it as part of a stereo FX pedal-board that combines several keyboards/synths into a single stereo output. the rolls also has two different sized headphone output sockets which is very handy for playing multiple keyboards/synths and their outboard FX through a pair of headphones. The build quality is excellent, better than I expected, the case is made of thick metal and the rubber pots are weighted with a convenient notch at their 12 O.clock position. I only wish it came with a UK plug.
