A weighted keyboard, textured keyboard, so not plasticky and slippery, nice key action… and a piano sound that makes me happy.
Really pleased with this purchase, that came nicely packaged and has a heft to it, which gives the peaker sound a nice volume and richness. I have watched reviews of yamaha equivalents, and even the cheaper model of this Roland… but to be honest, and extra £200 is well worth it formthe extras I may need. And the footpedal is fine, despite reviews slatignit. There is ONE small niggle. The metronome sound is atrocious, and vague to use and set speeds. A real afterthought. Which is why I am online with thomann buying a £30 metronome, made for the job. So hopefully problem solved. Not sure what Rolands problem is, if they can nail a piano sound, and yet not a nice wooden sounding metronome… a childs voice for gods sake… what were they thinking?
