This is perfectly complemented by a bunch of innovative features, such as a gain assist function that makes capturing crystal-clear sound an absolute breeze, comfortable plug-and-play connectivity, and full compatibility with cameras, computers, and smartphones.

Long range and reliable transmission

Its state-of-the-art 2.4GHz digital transmission technology with 128-bit encryption allows the Rode Wireless ME to maintain a stable wireless connection over a maximum signal range of 200m with a clear line of sight, while the omnidirectional microphones, which are installed in both the transmitter and the receiver, ensure premium-quality audio recording for optimal results. The Wireless ME mic system also comes with a pair of coiled cables with TRS mini-jack connections for transmitting the captured audio directly to a camera or computer as well as the USB-C-to-USB-C and USB-C-to-Lightning cables that are required for digital connection to a computer, smartphone, or iPhone.

About Rode

Founded in Sydney, Australia in 1990, Rode is a specialist in high-quality studio microphones. With its very first in-house, completely Australian-built model, the NT2 large-diaphragm microphone, the company created a classic which is still produced in its current and enhanced version, the NT2-A. An extensive range of studio and live microphones has also been added, regularly updated, and expanded over the years. These new additions include a variety of professional microphones which are designed for video and mobile applications and can be connected directly to SLR cameras or smartphones.

Capturing professional audio has never been easier

The unique Rode Wireless ME excels with high-quality microphones that have been integrated into both the transmitter and the receiver, which allows audio content to be simultaneously recorded in front of and behind the camera, making this wireless mic system the ideal solution for all users who want to conduct two-way interviews and operate the camera at the same time. And thanks to Rode's innovative gain assist function, which automatically adjusts the audio levels in the audio processor by means of intelligent algorithms, creators can fully concentrate on their camera without the risk of audio clipping. By the way: Users who are looking for a wireless system with an internal memory for on-board audio recording (which is not featured in the Wireless ME) should take a look at the Rode Wireless GO II.
