Perfect bass drum head
This is all I need on a kick batter, I've tried everything over the years, I generally fit a thin aquarian patch (thinner than others on the market) on the beater contact point as it will increase the attack and get my point across.
The damping on these heads is just right, I only damp my 20" and 22" kicks with a small rolled up towel taped to the very bottom of the batter head and my 26" kick gets a light pillow that doesn't touch the heads at all unless absolutely necessary (and then it just presses against the batter a little.)
