Die Hülle passt perfekt und kann im Betrieb dran bleiben. Die vordere Abdeckung wird einfach aufgerollt und angeklettet. Die Hülle wird einfach übergestülpt und hat keinen Boden. Sollte die Box also als Boden-Monitor auf die Seite gelegt werden, dann bleibt eine Seite (der Boden der Box) unbedeckt.
Ich habe einen Dauertest mit einer Box ohne und mit einer zweiten Box mit Hülle auf dem Stativ durchgeführt. Die Endstufe der Box mit Hülle wird gefühlt etwas wärmer, aber nicht heiß! Die Box in der Hülle wird über die zwei Ausbeulungen bei eingestecktem Netz- und Signalkabel scheinbar genügend belüftet und gekühlt. Die kühlende Metallrückwand der Box ist riesengroß, fast über die ganze Rückseite der Box. Ein weiterer erheblicher Teil der entstehenden Wärme wird auch in die Box abgegeben und über die Bassreflexöffnung einfach "ausgeatmet". Ich sehe also kein Problem, dass die Box mit Hülle den Hitzetod sterben wird. Die Class-D-Entstufen erzeugen sowieso nicht soviel Wärme wie Class-A-B-Endstufen.
Fazit: Volle Kaufempfehlung von mir und absolutes Muss beim Transport. Ich würde die Box mit der Hülle nicht in den Regen stellen, obwohl es kurzzeitig bei leichtem Regen gehen könnte.

The cover fits perfectly and can stay on during operation. The front cover is simply rolled up and attached with Velcro. The cover is simply put over the speaker and has no bottom. If the speaker is laid on its side as a floor monitor, one side (the bottom of the speaker) remains uncovered. I carried out a long-term test with one speaker without a cover and a second speaker with a cover on the tripod. The power amplifier of the speaker with the cover feels a little warmer, but not hot! The speaker in the cover is apparently sufficiently ventilated and cooled via the two bulges when the power and signal cables are plugged in. The cooling metal back panel of the speaker is huge, almost across the entire back of the speaker. Another significant part of the heat generated is also released into the speaker and simply "exhaled" through the bass reflex opening. So I don't see any problem with the speaker with the cover dying of heat. The Class D power amplifiers don't generate as much heat as Class AB power amplifiers anyway. Conclusion: I fully recommend buying it and an absolute must when transporting it. I wouldn't put the box with the cover in the rain, although it might work for a short time in light rain.

Vorteile der auch noch fabelhaften klingenden CP 8 sind Gewicht und Transportfähigkeit, insbesondere die Verstaufähigkeit im Fahrzeug. Wer stapelt und schiebt kommt an den Transporthüllen nicht vorbei. Die passen einwandfrei, sitzen nicht zu eng und sind damit auch schnell überzuziehen - auch wenn der Preis, wie meistens bei den Hüllen, ein wenig schmerzt: unterwegs geht es ohne nicht

Obal som kúpil nie kvôli dažďu a počasiu, ale kvôli prenášaniu, prachu a ochrane počas dopravy. Klasický bag mi na tento účel prišiel príliš rozmerný a drahý.
Proti dažďu je určite výborný (aj keď vodou som ho zatiaľ nepolial). Rozmerovo sedí dobre, spracovanie okrajov a zipsov je fajn, zospodu je možné obal poistiť elastickým popruhom. Odopínanie látky z rôznych potrebných častí (madlo, predná mriežka, zadný panel) je vymyslené a spracované dobre.
Jediná vec, ktorá mi chýba, bola možnosť zrolovať odopínateľný kus látky hore nad madlom a zrolovaný ho upevniť (kvôli prenášaniu). Takto môžem maximálne využiť len okolitý suchý zips, čo nie je ani komfortné, ani pekné.
Na deklarovaný účel však slúži dobre + ochrana proti prachu a malým odreninám ako bonus.

I bought the case not for rain and weather, but for carrying, dust and protection during transport. I found the classic bag too bulky and expensive for this purpose. It is certainly excellent against the rain (although I have not poured water on it yet). It fits well in terms of size, the processing of the edges and zippers is nice, the cover can be secured from the bottom with an elastic strap. Detachment of the fabric from the various necessary parts (handle, front grill, back panel) is thought out and processed well. The only thing I miss is the ability to roll the detachable piece of fabric up above the handle and fasten it when rolled up (for portability). In this way, I can only make maximum use of the surrounding velcro, which is neither comfortable nor nice. However, it serves the stated purpose well + protection against dust and small scratches as a bonus.
