Really good pickup for nailing that "Broken Wings" clean tone. The pickups shines with fingerpicking. Perfect if paired with a trebley bridge pickup, as it does the best of both worlds when in the middle position. I used it in the neck position of an Epiphone Ultra II and a PRS Se Singlecut. Recommended with mahogany guitars. Unfortunately, this pickup doesn't allow to coil tap or parallel tap, due to his 2 wire design.

To get that finger picked clean or hot sounding lead tone from the man itself, this is truly it. It's the perfect ticket to get that tremonti clean and lead sound in combo with the treble pick-up.
The sound is warm, balanced and detailed, even on full on crunch. A perfect upgrade and Unique pick-up, offered by prs, which only indicates the best you can get!

PRS PICKUP TREMONTI BASS
Brendan G. 21.02.2015
Fitted the Pu into my PRS santana SE because the neck Pu was a bit treble-ish. It was a fairly simple job with a soldering iron and when I plugged the guitar in to the amp I could not believe the difference. It is much more powerful and gives a fuller warmer sound for my blues playing. Just amazing and the only downside is that I may have to but another for the bridge because its a little quieter! I will gig it and see!
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

Der Pickup am Hals
Markus Tremonti 10.12.2009
