Cannot fault these
I've been using these sticks for about six years now and they are so consistently good that I have no intention of changing. The quality control dept must be doing a good job. They are a good weight and length and the balancing is fab ~ I've yet to have a duff pair. They last and last ~ I have yet to have broken even one ~ many have been worn down until I have had to retire them but none have actually broken on me, live or otherwise.
This does leave one with a tiny problem. I order in bulk to get a good price but that can mean I have five or six sets rattling around in my stick bag so once they start to wear you can have problems matching up pairs if you don't keep them all separate. Perhaps this is a common problem, I don't know, but I suspect the longevity of these particular sticks makes this problem more prevalent ~ not a bad problem to have in terms of value for money though!

neil peart promark 747's
i started using these sticks approx. 7 years ago, I bought quite a few just to have spares, and even tho I play a forcefull style of drumming, I have yet to break any of these. Sure the heads on the end will wear down but they seem to be extremely hard to break. The feel and balance of them is perfect, now my stick bag contains only these sticks and I am veryyy satisfied with them, and being a huge Rush fan and Peart fan, it always brings a smile to my face taking out a new pair of these... rock on amigos :)

Great Sticks
I love the weight and length on these 747s. The rebound is great. And you can get really good volume with them.
Now if only I could play half as well as Neil can...

Lasts longer
Basically an oak 747 with a wood tip but lasts longer because of the harder wood and a wee bit of extra weight. Great stick

Perfect for your Rush audition!
Seriously, these are excellent sticks that are possibly indestructible... possibly!
Perfect weight, length and diameter for all playing styles. Neil Peart has decades of experience and these sticks exude perfection. After a month, the first pair still look almost new.
The men who hold high places must be the one's who start ;-)

Excellent Quality sticks.
Have used Pro Mark sticks for many years, always great quality and very durable, have tried other brands but they just don't match up. The Neil Peart bit was just a bit of self-indulgence!!

My go-to sticks!
I've been using these sticks for years now and I'm extremely happy with them. I wanted longer sticks for longer reach, 5A which I play all my life and I feel most comfortable playing with and most important - durability. These last for a very long while - and that's coming from a metal drummer. As long as they'll make 'em I'll buy 'em!
