A must have for the domestic player

Got it a week ago, didn't have enough time to check all its features, but as far now, I am completelly satisfied with this little beast. Sound is quite good, not as artificial as other digital amps in mu opinion. It is great also to connect it to the phone and play along the backing tracks or original songs.
AI is also amazing, although didn't check all its posibilities yet.
Woukd buy it again, it will completelly soon replace my beloved Boss Js10.
I woukd say it is the perfect partner for the domestic player who wants almost everything, easily and with a little space available.

Incredible multi purpose amp

This amp is brilliant value and has a tonne of exceptional features like the tone cloud (search and download specific tone presets other users have uploaded), the beta AI tone generator (just type in the tone you want and you will get 4 tones in about 10 seconds) and the ability to play along to drum loops. There are many more standout features. The phone app makes creating custom tones a breeze and is highly intuitive. I use my spark mainly for jamming and home recording (comes with supplied cable to link straight to your laptop and no driver downloads needed for mac). This mk 2 version has 50w output making it also highly usable for smaller gigs. In short this is an exceptional modelling amp at a very competitive price. Highly recommended!

Positive Grid ist hier ein großer Wurf gelungen. Ich habe bis auf den Spark Go alle Spark Amps in Gebrauch gehabt. Der Spark Mini ist im Vergleich zum Spark 40 klangtechnisch gesehen schon eine deutliche Verbesserung, klingt aufgeräumter, transparenter. Allerdings fehlte mir dann doch die Power auf lange Sicht. Nun zum Nachfolger. Hier hat Positive Grid mit dem Spark 2 einen sehr gut klingenden Amp auf den Markt gebracht, der dazu noch mit ordentlich "Wumms" ausgestattet ist. Egal ob Clean oder High Gain, ich bin begeistert von diesem raumfüllenden Klang. Dazu mit integrierten Looper(hier kann auch der erste Spark Control genutzt werden) und optionalen Akku lässt er für mich keine Wünsche offen. Die Möglichkeiten der App sind absolut crazy wenn man sich ein bisschen damit beschäftigt. Das Schöne ist dass man hier innerhalb kurzer Zeit gute Sounds erstellen kann und gleichzeitig auf viele bereits bestehende Presets in der Tonecloud zugreifen kann. Spark AI ist ein weiteres spannendes Feature mit viel Potential. Auch optisch macht er richtig was her und ist tadellos verarbeitet.

Fazit: Für mich ist der Spark 2 im Gesamtpaket unter den Practice Amps konkurrenzlos gut was Preis-/Leistung angeht.
