Great for bowing electric guitar!
I needed rosing to use a bow on an electric guitar and figured a hard kind of rosin would be best for this (my sticky double bass rosin did not work particularly well for e-guitar).
I got this dark Pirastro and it has worked great for my needs. Probably not what most people use it for though...

Great and cheap. I have never liked rosins for 15 years until I've tried Pirastro Schwarz. It hasn't an intense odor like others, and gives the perfect adherence to the bow hair in my opinion. Moreover, I finally got a rosin that I can put everyday and don't being afraid of "ffffffff" sound

Good resin
Very affordable rosin and simple to use, rosin can be applied very easily, although it is pretty hard and might need some sandpaper work before use. Couple minutes of swiping does the trick and you are ready play your favourite songs. Works with an amateur violinist like myself.

A bit brittle so handle with care, nicely wrapped up in cloth, does what it sayd on the tin

Smart presentation and versatile
I'm using it with a Finger-Bow for both bass and guitar experimentation.
Makes easy to get a good and no so harsh (when I don't want to) sound due to its stickiness.
Also I find confortable the lid it has to hold while applying the rosin

Great rosin
A lovely dark rosin - not too dusty or sticky and creates a warm, clear sound.
