Amazing High Peek snare
ShadowPixel 09.06.2019
If you are looking for a Mid to High pitch Snare this is the snare for you.
The snare acts like a piccolo snare but with the size of a full snare and so you get a clear cut in a band that uses a variaty of low sounds (metal, extreme metal and sometimes even funk)
This snare is ok at mid pitch but does not have the crack like he has in high tunning.
I recommend this snare for beginners in a metal band because of this low price and high attack!!!
Overall great snare and easy to pick up and place in any genre!!!

I
My new favourite snare. So, so good.
Imaginary 04.04.2024
I wanted this snare for a long, long time. Not only because I mostly play heavy music and this is the signature snare of the legendary Joey Jordison but also because it just sounded great in the many videos I watched.
Also, I should say that I own a collection of snares made of different materials and with a price range between €200 and €960.

This drum is everything one can expect: Loud, crisp, really well built and great looking. I am aware that it has been said before but it feels like we get a lot more than what we paid for.

It is not over engineered. The snare has a simple throw off and adjusting the tension is not particularly smooth but, for me, that is the beauty of it. Just my type of instrument. Very simple, very straightforward, everything holds in place and is beautiful to the ear.
The snare has that feel of material built in the 2000s. One that will last a long time, sound great in many music styles (as we can hear in songs from back then) and with a raw punch.

One last note: Do not replace the original hoops with die-cast hoops. Not on this snare. I have tried and it is not worth it, in my opinion. The sound becomes very flat.

I am very happy with my new snare and I strongly, strongly recommend it, regardless of the music and playstyle.

Great snare for metal and extreme metal , top cut sound and pearl quality . Worth every cent , i have been using it for 2 years now and i love it , i wouldn't change it for anything . Also love the characteristic steel sound , great representative of the metal snares hands down.

I used to play in a maple and this was my first ever steel snare. Never going back, it sounds so good, i can tune it high and it holds its tuning well.
