This Pearl Cymbal Boom is medium in weight but very sturdy at the same time. I’m using this in conjunction with a Pearl ADP-20 and it holds my 19” crash like a dream. In a situation where I had to mount a 22” ride it also took it with ease. It has lots of adjustment and in transportation it doesn’t take space yet it can handle tough situations (holding large heavy cymbals) with ease.

Lower price, same quality as the expensive ones

This cymbal boom arm is an excellent choice for any type of cymbal, it's really sturdy and maneuverable.
Holds the cymbal just right and in its place.
The price is really good for what you get in return.
I own 3 of these and like them very much.
They do their job amazingly!

Ok but not great
Martin7399 19.08.2014
Everything was great but the plastic ”wing nut” that is supposed to hold the cymbal in place. The threads were of poor quality and didn´t hold, I could remove the “nut” without screwing it off. I replaced it with a metal wing nut and now it works great.

Pearl CH-830

I use it for small splashes and effect cymbals, probably wouldn't put anything bigger than a 14" or 16" cymbal on it. You will want the more expensive bigger brother for that job since they have a greater range of movement than this with its gear locking mechanism. Typical reliable Pearl quality, will last a lifetime unless you are constantly setting up your kit and putting large amounts of wear and tear on it.
