Much Better than Expected!
I purchased this Bright Yellow Plastic Trombone for My 8 year old Son. I read lots of reviews saying that I should go for a Porper Brass instrument, but becasue of his size, I decided to go Plastic.
Years ago I was quite proficient, playing in local Brass Bands, so when I opened te cardboard box, I thought Id give it a go. So In 2 mins I was up and running. The first thing that hit me was how Light it was. Much Lighter than I could ever expect, and becase of that it was very easy to put together. The sound I got out of it ( having not played one for 20 years) was incredible. I remembered my scales, and even got some basic tunes and the tone bowled me over.
So My son came home from school. He opened up the ( rather Flimsey ) case, and put it together immediatly with no issues and within 4 weeks is trying for his grade 1 exams.
Now after a few months he is still practicing, in the school orchestra, and has never looked back.
One Extra thing- Becasue its light, and Plastic- it has taken a few knocks without any damage- and if it does Im sure Superglue will work too!

I love it
Bought one to try out. For starting out, it's perfect, I was able to learn everything with it. I joined a brass band and they offered me to take home a real one they have for spare for me to practice at home but I'm used to the sound of my pBone and I love it, it's not as metal sounding as the real ones, and I like that. Also a bit better for my neighbours as I'm in an apartment.
The slide is a bit grippy, as to be expected, but overall, it's a great value and great fun. Wherever I go, everyone asks me about it. Great was to get people's attention !
