One of the best, affordable programmable loopers around.

So let's start with the things this doesn't have. It's not stereo, doesn't support midi or let you move the signal chain around. If you're in the market for something Boss ES-8 or GigRig G3 like then this isn't for you and you need to be looking at One Control's bigger offerings.

But for me those limitations are part of the Chamaeleo's appeal. Because they make it is super accessible and easy to use. And the features it does have are useful and thoughtfully laid out.

You have a buffer at the start of the chain which is ideal for adding in any always on pedals. The separate inputs and outputs that sit between loops 4 and 5 are ideally placed to put a wet/dry split which is what I do allowing me to create programmable options that encompass both amps. Setting up presets is such a doddle you can do it on the fly between songs. and 15 presets is enough, but no so many you need to take an index card on stage with you. The bank switching is super easy and can be handled mid-song. The mute / tuner out is a great tool and I use it creatively in songs to create crisp stop and starts. And its footprint is tiny. I use it as the front row on a Temple Boards Trio and it's spot on for having two rows of pedals behind.

Worth noting are the fact it absolutely requires low profile jack leads so you will need to invest in a solderless kit - and this can drive the overall price up a bit if you currently using classic patches.

But if you want all the benefits of a programmable looper but don't want to spend your life in a user manual then you can't go far wrong with this.
