I'm a home guitarist, I sold my orange micro terror (too loud for my use) to get this guy. I've been looking at reviews extensively before buying it, and to be honest, it's probably the best decision I've made.
The build quality is great, packaging was very premium and the unboxing experience was already exciting. Setting up the beast is a matter of plugging it to the power outlet, plug the wireless receiver and start playing. The 2-switch pedal for the looper and the foot switch is the killer addition for me, that alone makes it better than some similar option in the market. Obviously the fact that it comes with a wireless receiver (which is great in terms of range and sound), making it super easy to pickup the guitar and start playing. The thing even works on battery and would last 7hrs of playing according to the specs (I will most likely keep it plugged anyways)
The app is very easy to use, it has a good amount of options that you can tinker with and the sim quality is really good. What I like is that it's not bloated with tons of things, it has what you need and a bit more than that. If you prefer buttons, you will be served, you won't be lost if you are used to classic amps.
I can even use it as an audio interface for my guitar as well as an external speaker (via USB or Bluetooth)
I put a bit less for the sound quality, while it's very powerful and quite bright, I find it slightly too heavy on the bass, but you can easily compensate with the settings of your preset and reduce that quite well if need be.
Overall, if you are in the market for a desktop amp that is easy to use but can satisfy the nerdy sound chaser that you are, I would definitely recommend. I think it would also be great for people that bring their guitar on the go to jam or practice. Very happy with this thing so far, and I have still quite a lot to discover.
