Neutrik NP2 RX-BAG

This plug is as good as it gets. The complete shell is made from diecast metal and comes in a black finish. This product series is also available in a nickel finish but costs a little more so usually go with the black type. The contact tip is very durable and has a smooth finish. I use these plugs for years now and never had a failure as happens often with the cheap ones where the tip happens to get stuck or breaks off. The strain relief keeps the cable jammed inside of the plug so it literally gets impossible to rip it out.
For soldering a steady hand is needed for space inside is limited.

I have been using Neutrik straight and angled jacks for years, on all of my guitar, stage and studio equipment. I usually use the silver ones, but now I wanted something a bit more low profile so I ordered the black ones. Neutrik makes high-quality jacks which are, in my opinion, among the best, if not the best on the market. You'll see these jacks everywhere. I ordered angled jacks for the cable that I use with my Telecaster, as it is more practical if I have the cable going upwards towards and over the strap button. I wouldn't recommend using these angled jacks on your pedalboard, as they are very large and will take up a lot of space. I wish Neutrik made a smaller model of angled jacks, like the Switchcraft pancake models.
