Always Great
I use it for sampling and putting drums together in my DAW.
NI's controllers are always great since MK1. Bigger pads, more sensitivity on them and renewed displays.
A must have on your production gear.
To say a con, I don't really like the FX bar but it's cool for live shows.

A complete surprise and unexpected surprise!
I bought it as an extension to my keyboard (I am more of a piano player thus I prefer to compose using an 88 keyboard) . I really was not expecting for it to be use much, just to play around. However, I found myself heavily using it. It has a high quality construction. At first, I thought that because of the plastic housing it was going to be just a cheap looking instrument, but to my surprise it is very sturdy and high quality looking. I just love the feeling of the buttons and knobs.
Pro:
Excellent mobility capabilities. It is really easy to transport and works perfectly with a Surface Pro 4 Computer with a Core I5 and 8GB of ram. I found my self now continuing music production in airplanes, train and outdoors.
Cons:
It does not have a proper Audio interface. For the mobility part, it would have been really perfect to have a good Audio Interface so that you can listen with good quality on the go. Also there was random activation of some pads when I pressed hard, but then I realize that the sensitivity was to high. Problem was solved by reducing sensitivity slightly.

Love this little thing
I'm using it as companion to NI S61 MK2. I get used to play drums on the pads and my keyboard does not have them. I was thinking between MK3 and Mikro and I selected latter because I have all of the MK3s commands on my keyboard already so I would pay just for duplication of they keys and displays.
Maschine is great for making ideas fast while composing or making beats that need a day to learn.

Micro Maschine for a Big inspiration
Well build and comes packed with some initial sounds, kits and packs.
I really like it. You can have some basic ideas for the track down within the minutes. With lots of online videos and tutorials the learning curve shouldn't be so hard. All the sounds are high quality and if you need some inspiration on a rainy day, this little box is all you need. It became my regular when producing tracks for myself or for my clients and it fits perfectly in my backpack. Oh, and also, it is packed with functions that will help you write and compose your music faster then ever (chord mode, scales, keys, ...). With that in mind I also thinking about it's bigger brother. Go for it, you won't regret it.

Great value for money!
I 've only had it for a few days, but I am impressed by the quality. The maschine mikro feels well made overall, pretty sturdy in spite of its size, pad sensitivity is great and you just get so much control out of this small device. The Maschine software takes some getting used to, but the good thing is you can use it as a plug-in in any daw, so you don't have to "learn" a lot if you don't want to. All in all, I 'm really happy with my purchase.

Great controller
It's a great controller. I use it with mac m1 pro. After you make the setup for it works very well. Pads are of good quality and customisable. Sometimes the controller needs to be unplugged and plugged again because it blocks. Don't know the reason why.

Feels like playing an instrument
Always hated playing with digital instruments, i.e pads and midi controllers, as they just felt flimsy and non musical. They Maschine is the complete opposite. It feels like playing a real instrument. I am jest getting started but I can already feel a connection with the instrument.

Not my cup
When I bought this I was expecting that I would be able to use it with a Daw like ableton. But NI's software is lacking, because you're tightly locked in their ecosystem. The product is fine, but NI's software is a bit outdated
