S
Versatile pedal, great value.
Stav 07.08.2017
I have this pedal about two weeks now, and have used it for home practise, home recording and rehearsals. I've found it to be very useful in all those scenarios. The reverb doesn't sound digital and can go from a light reverb to the sound of a massive cathedral.

The delay setting is just as versatile too, and can go from a short slapback type delay to a long tape echo, which is great for layering in the fashion of Brian may.

There is a tap tempo function for the delay which is activated by holding down the switch for two seconds and tapping the switch at your desired tempo. The LED will flash at the tempo you select. The on/off LED also doubles up as a tap tempo button.

The build of the pedal is sturdy, and it came with a switch topper that I just like the look of.

There is a mini toggle that switches between the two effects, and this is where I had the only issues with the pedal. How this functions wasn't made clear in the instruction manual (I had to find a video on YouTube to figure it out).

Switching between the two effects isn't just a case of flicking the switch. With the pedal turned on, the Level knob must be turned all the way down before switching between the two effects. So, not a major issue, but it wasn't as straight forward as I had anticipated.

Overall, a great sounding pedal which is great value for money.

OR
Does what is says, but..

There are no memory battery inside the pedal, so every time it is powered up, you would need to dial in the settings. This did not work for me, as i intended to put this pedal deep down inside my pedalboard hooked up in a loop-switcher kind of system.

So i ended up buying a carbon copy mini instead. Couldnt be happier!! 😂

B
has it all but compensates in quality
Bubnjar 02.04.2019
You got reverb and delay in one pedal. Pedal remembers your previous setting as you switch between these two.
The quality is quite poor - the knob sensitivity is lacking on all of them (example- feedback goes from "cant hear nothing" to 4 repeats, so does the mix control on reverb, desired delay time is hard to adjust without tap tempo...
But its all to be expected - money dictates the quality.)
If you have need for one delay and reverb to stay , its a good thing , once u play enough on it and find the desired tone, but if you're going to switch the delay tempo and lushness of reverb, its drawbacks are going to get on your nerves very soon.
