Minotaur Boston Black Guitarstrap

I'm using it with my Ibanez AEW40AS and it's great

Pros
- Doesn't slide even when wearing a woolen sweater
- Beautiful design
- Heavy with thick leather
- Good range of length adjustment (you can always make another hole easily since it's leather)
- Cheap for a quality strap

Cons
- Really hard to get onto the strap knobs (but if you use it for just one guitar, just leave it on)
- Only black variety available

Guitar straps are one of those things that are very subjective. What is awesome for one person, is not for another. But I think everyone will like the Minotaur.
The leather is thick and soft, and spreads the weight of the guitar across the shoulder evenly. The holes for the end pins are cut perfectly, and if you use strap locks like I do, they fit great also.
The color is nice and even, and didn't rub off on my clothes, even under sweat. This is high quality!

I wasn’t sure about it when I was purchasing but it’s an excellent guitar strap... strong, comfortable, flexible... large one for my shoulder but I don’t feel that the strap disturbes me!!!

I have two Minotaur padded leather straps now. One I have gigged heavily for years and it just keeps getting better with age. This new one is identical (just has the conchos for decoration) and feels very comfortable, even with heavy guitars. Thoroughly reccomend.

The leather is very stiff, and seems to be coated with a type of plastic film. The padded backing is vinyl, not leather, so will not breathe. I liked the look of this, but am disappointed with the strap, and will look for something better made and more comfortable.

I like Minotaur straps - I have several. Quality leather, good looks, comfortable to wear both with guitars and basses. What would you expect more?

Strap design, comfort and durability are subjective features for every guitarist. If you like leather, a wider and softer feel on the shoulder and attractive design check this one out. Easy to adjust, and affordably priced too.

Really good strap. I loked it to my guitar with shaller security loks, works great. The strap is really comfortable and it distributes the weight of the guitar over your shoulder (that's is why I prefer wide straps over thin ones). Looks great on stage.
