Great solution.

I am a solo acoustic player. I bought this mainly to use at home for long rehearsal sessions but also at some venues where seating is at a premium and the owners/client don't like you taking away seats LOL. After reading the reviews and having good experience of Millennium products I decided on this chair/standing aid.

Arrived on time and well packaged, although there was a small hole through the outer box which penetrated the inner box but caused no damage, thankfully. This thing is heavy, solid and very well designed and built. I had it put up and in place in minutes.

It is rated to hold 120kgs (I am only a very dainty 105kgs) so I am ok and confident.....I think??? The back rest is well padded and flips back out of the way for folding away or if you don't want to use it. It is not height adjustable. If you do use it, you are prevented from raising the comfortable padded seat to its maximum height by 3 steps. This just happens to work out at a comfortable height for me (I am 6Ft tall). The seat flips up for folding away. The foot rest is height adjustable also. So almost anyone can find a comfortable setting for this. It folds away in seconds.

My only criticism is that of the back rest. It would be nice to have that adjustable by 3 to 4 steps. I have the seat currently raised to the maximum which leaves the back rest at the lowest end of your back. I am not sure how this will fair over long sessions.

This is a very sturdy product of quality and excellent value from Thomann, so thanks again guys. If like me your back starts to hurt after a while of standing and playing then this would be right up your street. It folds away compactly and can be slid under the bed or behind a wardrobe very easily. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Used for drumming as well as guitar
PhilMcg 01.09.2021
A great affordable piece of kit. Easily put together. Was purchased by my partner for me as I have spinal disease to help with keeping me stable while playing drums a nice back support too. Only problem for me is moving it around as it’s heavy Due to stability which is a good thing. Overall fantastic quality and comfortable. Great for Guitarists.

Playing guitar becomes a real pleasure while sitting on the chair. It is comfortable, adjustable and the best of all the guitar stand helps allot. The chair is stable, the seat is soft and I appreciate that I can fold the chair and deposit it in narrow spaces.
Good quality for the money spent. I recommend this product.

Y
Best bang/buck chair on Thomann
YarneH 11.11.2020
Bought this for my clients in the studio and everyone loves it. I used to have a €350 chair that made everybody's back go out, now my clients don't have any issue sitting for 10 hours straight.
The "leather" feels a bit cheap and squeaky, I don't expect it to last very long.
Overall very happy with this purchase.

Not as I hoped
SaxmanSki 10.04.2024
This is a well built and sturdy stool. Unfortunately if you are a large built guy like myself, this is really not suitable. The seat itself is tiny and suitable for a perching budgie. I have removed the seat and made my own about twice the size. The padding on the original is thin and not really much use. Such a shame for such a well built stool. The backrest is not height adjustable so don't get caught out. If I had tried this out in a shop would I have bought it - No.

Excellent Value For Money
Maxonbass 18.10.2017
The Millenium ST-95 is a well designed and engineered standing aid/stool. It's very simple to assemble and fold away to it's flat pack format. The construction is very solid and the materials appear to be durable. Both seat and back rest are comfortable even after prolonged periods of use, the upholstery being an imitation leather.
The seat, back rest and footrest are height adjustable making this item very versatile. Stability is superb, I strongly recommend this item ... it offers quality at a very reasonable price.

This is a great product, the best I have used and a really good price compared to others at twice the cost. Well built, very sturdy, and easily adjustable and folds reasonably flat when not in use. Highly recommended.

FM
Good practice seat
Fabio Matera 24.11.2020
PRO: easy to close/open, compact when closed (hence easy to store away), easy and multiple adjustments possible to all the parts. Stable, looks enough sturdy. Good value for the money, lot of flexibility.
CONS: one only aspect is not really at the level of the rest. The seat cuscion is really too soft (I'm 82 kg) and after 1 hr it may give some pain. A more rigid padding is required to provide comfortable practice sessions.

Good Quality Seat
landyhill 22.08.2022
I have used this almost daily for more than two years. It is still solid and comfortable and feels steady even when moving slightly.

Definitely has exceeded my expectations.

I do like the ease of folding to carry and move around when cleaning the studio.

First impression is really good
funkysoulmate 15.04.2020
It's a very sturdy well-made and manageable seat.
Upholstery seems fine, but it compresses a whole lot when seated. I hope it’s durable when holding up my 110 kg for a long period of time.
I use it at its maximum height. Very easy to sit/stand up during rehearsals and practicing. I mainly bought it to relieve my back. Now I can switch from standing to half-sitting down. Makes a big difference.
