Not great, not terrible
romerojnr 13.10.2020
I purchased this snare stand for my V-Drums (not even a real kit, right?) and even though it worked as intended for the first couple of months, the black plastic screw thingy got totally wasted (you normally rotate in order for the clips to hold the snare tight), having that wasted made the stand pretty much useless, specially if you're playing cross-stick... You cannot easily repair it since the part you need to remove to replace the screw is welded.

I'm quite surprised by this engineering flaw and I can 100% guarantee that this will happen sooner or later to anybody. I'd only recommend this model if you're planning on using it to hold your practising pad.

Do *NOT* put your real snare on it.

Weird to handle and get a good angle on a pad, grips get in the way
jplebre 03.11.2020
For some reason, the basket has the grips in odd place which makes it a bit odd to use with a pad. It also feels just barely OK stability wise when used with a pad so I'm not sure I'd trust it any of my 6.5" snares, let alone my heavier and deeper snares.

Cheap

Cheap materials, cheaply assembled. Very annoying to adjust anything. Once adjusted stays in place. I have it for my practice pad. Recommend something better for an actual snare.

Buy it if you have no other choice.

I didn't think spending a great deal of money on a snare stand would be important, so I bought this for cheap.

Save your money and buy something substantial.

Excellent customer service and delivery times with Thomann as always x

Pros: It?s a good stand for it s price, Cons: the plastic nut used to keep the snare tight in the stand breaks super easy. Would be alot better if this part was replaced with something more lasting and a small price raise.

Not that good. The materials used are very poor quality. The screws are terrible.

Broke in half
ajblck 08.05.2018
Initially looking very good but after just week of using it with my 14x5.5 snare drum, the biggest steel tube from stand actually broke in half. Surely it was just faulty peace and fortunately, it didn't happen during a live show. I would suggest investing a little bit more and buying Gibraltar hardware.

A
Cheap snare stand with rough production quality
Anonymous 16.04.2014
I bought this stand because I did not want to invest too much money in a snare stand. It does its job but production quality is low (it is easy to cut yourself or get metal particles because of the rough finishing at some metal edges at the bottom side of the main pipe of the stand). There is also a problem at the middle of the stand where two concentric pipes are held together only by a small metal peg; this construction detail is very poorly implemented and results in poor stability.

Not great!
AidanM 13.08.2013
I use the Millenium DSS-718B to hold my Alesis Samplepad, and for that it's ok, but now and again it comes loose and the pad is not at the angle I require. The build quality isn't brilliant, but I guess for the price, it's about what you'd expect. Don't think this snare stand would hold an actual snare. This might be ideal for beginners, but I wouldn't recommend for a drummer who gigs frequently.
