What a great idea!

For some reason it I can't believe I hadn't thought of it before- have 2 things off the bass drum. I use the third 'hole' on my yamaha double tom holder to have a stand for my splash cymbal, but this allows me to also use my tuned bell as well, without messing around with clamps and additional holders. This thing gives you loads of adjustability, took me a while to play around with it, but I got a really good position on both cymbals, and it is really sturdy without being really heavy. Of course, it is a millenium product, so it is half the price it would be from a mainstream brand, and less than you have already decided you wanted to spend.

I love this gadget, and I have to say that I am happy with all the millenium hardware I have bought. I am a seasoned drummer, and I point blank refuse to use sub-standard equipment, and neither am I a cheapskate! However, you will like the quality of this unit, and it saves carrying a load of extra clamps and brackets. Treat yourself!

A very useful small cymbal stand
Anonymous 15.11.2014
This is a very good piece of drumming accessories. I use it as a central stand on my bass drum (between the tom toms), and it fit my Yamaha holder just great. It is very sturdy and reliable and has a great looking finish. The product differs a little from the picture - the long black plastic handle is on both short cymbal tilts, and the central one (for the boom arm) is actually metallic. The handles are great for instant adjustments, and can be used to really tighten the screws quite easily. Obviously you can use the stand only for small diameter cymbals (about 10" on each side, or an 8" and a 12"). You should also consider the potential trouble with the central tightening handle since it can end up turned towards one of the cymbals when tightened, and since their tilts are quite short the cymbal can end up hitting the handle when struck.
If you're looking for a simple solution to put up your splashes or similar effects this is a great solution for you, just find a good place for it on your set.

Two in one?
Aki H. 12.11.2013
This one looked practical. I could put two effect symbals on same boom arm. Bar is wide enough to mount one 10" effect and one 12" effect, but setting this thing up was a bit problematic because of the black handle sticking up in the middle. Use smaller symbals to get a wider gap between them. Also, the positioning is quite hard because the arm tube is straight. If you use normal clamp and mount this thing on cymbal stand or tom holder, the cymbals are left too far. Solution is to use clamp that can be rotated, like Pearl AX-25 Multi Clamp. Anyways, despite few flaws the product is sturdy and well made.

Pure quality!

Super super pleased with this item. Very easy to set up. Very easy to adjust and does exactly what it says on the tin. Very heavy duty which is amazing for the price. Holds my 8" and 10" splash with any cymbal overlap. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for a 2 cymbal or hardware mount. Once again Thomann followed through with delivery within 4 days! These guys are unbeatable!

Millenium DB-118 cymbal boom arm
Anonymous 08.04.2015
One word of caution when looking at these, they are great quality but just consider what you want to mount on them, the problem being you can only put small cymbals on them which is ok as I bought mine for splash cymbals but I did find with some setups that the adjustment lever on the top center part gets in the way and catches some cymbals underneath, excellent for small cymbals but not good for larger cymbals, I had problems with a 12" splash hitting the adjustment lever, I bought 2 of these and now use one of them as a single mount with one of the ends removed, works great so its kind of a multipourpose arm, single or double.

Great for percussionists!
mnoach 05.12.2024
This arm is very handy for percussionists who use two small cymbals next to each other, or, as I do, mount two cymbal and bell stacks next to each other. Sturdy, reliable, well finished and cheap. What else do you need?

Clever way of putting my small china-cymbals to drumrack. Was bit hard to handle and get to balance in times, but with time and effort it was worth it. Great price vs quality.

Very solid piece of hardware
Santeri 07.11.2013
Easy to handle, heavy duty, good pillows, just perfect. Carries big amount of weight, so you can plant some Zil Bels or something as heavy on this.

Funky little unit

Nice quality pioece of gear. Only problem was I found it difficult to store without disassembling it everytime so in the end I gave up with it. Nothing wrong with it though and it was really well made.

FB
DB-118 a great accessory for mounting your splashes
Flat Boy Dim 14.05.2013
I like my splashes quite close together and don't like the floor to be too cluttered, so I purchased one of these.
Very sturdy, infinitely adjustable, what a great piece of kit, I'm glad I bought it.
They feel a lot more expensive than they do actually cost, so great value
