Excellent value for money
Paul4175 21.05.2017
Excellent value for money , feels sturdy and not awkward to position. Purchased this for my daughter who's about 6 months in to her drumming career, standard kit only had a crash ride and as she's getting better upgraded her cymbals to Zildjian set and needed another stand for the 16" Crash.
Setting up out of the box took a bit of working out but once it was up and positioned it's been absolutely fine and has taken a battering this week and held up.
Reading some of the other reviews I was in two minds for buying this but as it's for home use thought I'd give it a go. I am sure there are better stands out there for the more advanced players and performers but this fits the bill perfectly, also purchased a extension arm for a splash which attached ok , but some of the bars are a little thinner than normal so would only attach in a couple of places .

To sum up if you're a beginner just after a cheap stand if your expanding your cymbals whilst learning it's a good buy, if your a gigging drummer looking for an extra or replacement weighing up what others have said you should probably opt for a better make! Time will be the judge of reliability.

A
Great stand with also a great price!
Anonymous 01.03.2017
I needed a boom stand for holding my ride cymbals. I was expecting for this price that this stand had poor qaulity and didn't last, I was really surprised to see that this stand has really good quality and it is really sturdy!

I have two ride cymbals, and both are heavy, specially my paiste power ride signature is really really heavy! I can even try to crash my ride (which is really hard due to its weight), and the stand doesn't even move! It is really sturdy and can hold hard hitters and heavy cymbals!

The attachment (wingnut) for the cymbal could be better, it is made of plastic, and for my experience this tends to ware really fast with time, metal with felt would be better for sure.

Nevertheless as a good quality cymbal stand and a sturdy one, for this price you can't go wrong!

It works!
Bockwurst 15.07.2019
We use it to support an 18" china in our thrash-metal band, so it's safe to say it gets hit quite a lot.
It hasn't failed us once and we're using it for about six months now.
We haven't been transporting it, only using it in rehearsals (weekly).
The felt cushion is not the best, we replaced it but it will do the job.
The rubber feet keep the stand where you place it. The stand does not have the tendency to tilt over. Doesn't weigh a ton either and it feels sturdy enough.
We cannot say anything about the extensive use of the joints and clamps but we don't think that will prove any problems.
For the price paid it is a real bargain!

S
A Decent Basic Cymbal Stand
Schengis 23.06.2019
I've been using these stands for several years on the road and in studio. In my opinion, they're a decent stand for the price. I take good care of my hardware, and from what I've seen, the only major problems that come from these stands are from poor maintenance.

That being said, the stand's base can wobble back and forth at times of heavy use or under a lot of weight. I mostly use these stands for cymbals that don't take much of a beating (splash/light crash).

Pros:
- Price
- Can support the weight it needs to and fill its role in a kit
- Lightweight for transportation

Cons:
- Base can be wobbly at times
- Can deteriorate quickly without good maintenance practices
- Plastic guard screws on from top (personal preference)

To sum it up: Good stand for the price, but I wouldn't use it in high-stress situations with heavy/pricey cymbals.

Great price, but not the best quality
AugaDrummer 17.03.2020
It's a nice stand, but the top part that holds the cymbal got loose after a few days (as happens with most cheap stands). It's fixable relatively easy if you know what you're doing, but maybe for some buyers that's a dealbreaker.

Good for it's price, however..
PsykeShow 22.07.2019
This is super cheap, and it works great. However, the nut is definitely not my favorite. If you're looking for cheap boom stands, but great quality, I recommend it's brother, Millenium CB-801 Pro Series.

The nut takes long to screw/unscrew and it doesn't feel as good or comfortable to put heavier cymbals on, I've only used 16" crash at maximum on this.

And I were looking for adjustability etc one day and the whole top fell apart. Easy to put together again, but not a good look in terms of quality.

STILL, It's useful and serves a good use for it's price. I don't regret buying it, but I'd recommend not going with the cheapest stands if you're looking for new gear, or buying as a present for a fellow drummer you know.

this boom stand seems cheap but is really great actually, its easy to handle, its steady enough, it goes far, the stand seems tough overall, worth the price 100%.

I bought this stand 8 years ago along with Millenium CS-718 Stage Cymbal Stand. Both still stand even they are used almost every weekend in all sort of weather conditions.
If anything goes wrong I'm buing these ones again.

A little unsteady
Anthony828 30.10.2020
I needed a stand with a boom arm for a Roland CY12 cymbal. I’ve had Millenium hardware before, namely an electronic drum kit, so it thought I’d give this a try as the price was appealing.
Unfortunately I think I made a mistake and now wish that I had paid a little more money to get a more substantial and weighty product. When I hit the cymbal, which isn’t that heavy, the stand tends to move around and threatens to fall over as it’s quite lightweight and the tripod legs flex and twist.
If you don’t need to extend the boom too far from the centre of the stand then this product will probably be okay for your needs, otherwise look elsewhere.

It broke at the second rehearsal
Anonymous 16.03.2017
The little thingy that prevents the tip of the boom to rotate broke after the first rehearsal, rendering the product useless.
I addition the stand was very hard to adjust.
I am returning the product.
