Great sound, penetrates through to the mic without overload and more importantly without affecting the vocal. My wife absolutely loves these, they are nice and light the handles are very comfortable if you use one or both in the same hand. 10/10 for these.

These are shakers

Bought two sets for my percussion workshops with kinds but was dissapointed when they arrived. This thing they call a maracas is just an egg shaker on a stick. It's also fully made of plastic so it can easily break when the kids drop them.

I bought these for my 1 year old niece who loves anything that makes a noise. The sound is much kinder on the ears than a classic baby rattle and she'll be able to use them as a real instrument when she gets older.
