One of these broke after half a year of being sometimes attached to a Remo 14'' acousticon/djembe, which is rather light compared to real djembes. The straps are thin, so they always slide out of place when used with a 12'' Remo synthetic djembe, needing constant readjustment. I would look for another option the next time, due to the unreliability of the quality of the metal parts (clamps breaing and the adjustment rings sliding during play).
