A little extra spacing between pools/cymbals
I bought these specifically because I wanted a little bit more space/spacing between my splashes (most other stackers are shorter).
- The felts included are not actually felt, but foam, which means that they can be twisted out of shape quite easily.
- I needed to move the included washer to sit between the rod and the cymbal felt below; in order to keep the cymbal below in place.
- The cymbal holder is very stable, but you do need to screw it in for a while (but that's probably why it's stable).
Generally, I'm satisfied with these Meinl cymbal holders! They worked as intended (to give some space between pools/cymbals).

Unproblematic
This is quite a simple piece of hardware, sturdy and stable. Unproblematic. Of course the critical bit is not the arm itself, reviewed here, but the clam and/or the piece where you attach it to.

Meinl MC-CYS8 Cymbal Stacker
There are several types of stacker around. Some only fit one series of stand by one manufacturer. Some look rather heavy and unstable on any stand. These are simple, lightweight and screw on to any standard 8mm thread on any stand. I have about 5 of them because I have loads of special effect cymbals. Some have larger mounts and washers than others. (I'm not sure if they are a different stock number? sent by mistake? but hey! my cymbals are different shapes and sizes!). They are quick and easy to set up, as and when required.

Does what it says
Get it!!! Just watch out for the difference of cymbals diameter-wise, the upper should be some inches smaller to be able to hit the lower one easily. Though inclination plays a role too.
