A good clamp
I have to say i am not a professional and i bought it in case i have to stabilize my camera and i have no space for a tripod.
It's not something i use everyday, but i did use it, it worked fine.
It's hard and heavy, with a really strong grip. Really strong actually. You have to be careful to not ruin the support. Maybe the only cons are the length of the handle that makes it difficult sometimes to rotate it and the fact that they are made of plastic (it's a high quality and hard plastic though)

Clamps to anything
These clamps are so useful! They really will clamp to just about anything. They're nice and secure on a 50mm lighting bar but will also happily clamp to a table top. When you combine a pair of them with a magic arm you end up with a really flexible, useful mounting system that will allow you to position whatever it is that you're using securely and in whatever position you need it in. The plastic insert that they're provided with to allow clamping to flat surfaces is easily lost and there's no way of retaining it on the clamp when not in use, but I've found that mine clamp to flat surfaces well without it anyway.

Superb clamps - clamp to anything - and fast connect!
I've used a couple of these for several years for clamping lights onto speaker stands. They have gigged exceedingly well and are absolutely solid. No failures - not surprising they are so solidly built.
They clamp onto pretty much anything. I am using these on my new truss because the speed at which you can get lights on and off using the quick release system bolts just makes set up and tear down a lot faster. I use these with Adam Hall SS018 bolts which works really well - and you do need to buy the bolts separately.
The only downside is they are a little weighty, but unless you are carrying a bag full of them this isn't a problem. Ive no found the need to use the insert - it works great without it.

Super by name, super by quality
I now own for of these and could use a few more, they really are awesome clamps. I use them for photography, holding stands and lights and even weights. They really are tough so can manage a variety of projects. It's worth getting the magic arm to go with them to really get the most out of them.

Feels sturdy and reliable
This is a wonderful clamp that feels sturdy (both in construction and grip). I'm pairing it with Manfrotto's 3 section arm and while that has been disappointing in what loads it can sustain, this clamp has not given me any cause for concern throughout.
This is clamped to a TV stand, which has a circular cross-section, and the grip has not slipped in the almost 2 years I've had it!

The gold standard
You can't go wrong with this one. I've attached this to a Gravity Vari-pole and it - unsurprisingly - holds the magic arm that holds my 970gr DSLR without issues.
You should have at least a couple lying around, they can be used in numerous scenarios and the build quality is top-notch.

Typically Solid
Very handy things to have! Typical indestructible Manfrotto build quality built to last years. Can attache to poles and flat objects (tables etc). Great for photography / video grip as well as live music / stage applications.
