Nice sound, not too bright and loud. can be used as two small or one big shaker. Comfortable to hold.

As someone with just a casual interest in percussion, this gets the job done just fine. Not too soft or too loud, feels nice to handle. Only thing I don't like is the rubber bands, as it's clear that in time they start to crumble.

I like the "light" shaker sound from this. However, I have had a couple that have too easily separated in the middle, spilling the internal metal shards all over my gig bag. Good price.

Sound-wise, this is almost identical to the Red Studio Luis Conte shaker by Meinl. You can't really get a loud enough sound to cut through much. However, its good for effects and the fact you can split this shaker in two is a nice element, meaning you can get an even softer sound. Unfortunately, one of the ends has broken off and subsequently I have lost a few of the inner beads. Nevertheless, worth buying if you want a smooth, soft sound.

Total plastic, but the sound is pretty good for what they are.
