Really awkward to carry.
This is an excellently made bag. Open it up and there are individual slots for each microphone stand (six slots, but I managed to fit two extra small stands in loose between slots), each mildly padded. I was very impressed with the construction and design of this bag, and was planning to use it to transport microphone stands to and from places where I record (I offer portable recording services under the name Talkback Audio Productions), but unfortunately, the bag is just not comfortable to carry. As you may have guessed, six microphone stands weigh a fair bit, and the bag hangs quite low if you hold it by its carrying handle, and while it does offer a shoulder strap as an alternative, it's just not viable. You end up awkwardly shimmying your way through doorways and past other equipment, knocking into stuff and generally feeling quite strained. This bag would be a full 5 stars if it had wheels. I recommend buying ONLY if you are carrying it a short distance to some method of transport (e.g. a car or van), as it's just not viable for anything more than a "round the corner" trip. Very well constructed, though.

Bit more expensive but worth the upgrade
Usually just use the cheaper budget bags for mic stands and speaker stands and they normally get the job done. However with some custom and more expensive stage stands I got I wanted a bit more padding/protection/separation.
K&M gear can be a bit more expensive but the quality tends to always be great. Internally the gear is divided up with padded section sleeves and has easy to open/close ties and velcro so you don't end up scratching your shiny kit together and it doesn't rattle around when you're moving into somewhere. The better stitching and reinforced bottom and handles mean it doesn't threaten to tear like some cheaper options and is actually easier on your shoulders.
If you are moving stands of various sizes and shapes around a lot - it's worth paying that bit more for the K&M bags. I worried it might just be for the branding and colours - but it is genuinely better quality all round.

The best mic stand bag I've used.
This will actually be my 3rd of these bags. They are stronger than most other equipment bags. It's a little pricier but worth it IMO.

Good value for the construction quality
I really like this bag; for one, it looks great. Second; its tough and nicely made. In the past I have bought three different bags for mic stands; the one broke, the second was ok and the third only survives as it barely fits enough to break. Yes, this may be more than your budget but once and be happy.

EXcellent if you have a lot of stands to move around
Typical K&M quality. Well-thought-out and well made.
Easy to get stands in and out and keep them secure - and scratch-free during transport.
Heavy when fully-loaded, but shows no sign of "giving" under the strain.

Not very durable
I don't know if I'm expecting too much of it, but for a hardware bag it is not very durable. After about 50-70 gigs the bag is ripped from both ends and at the edge of the zipper. On the other hand, the microphone stands are in great shape, so the bag serves its purpose.

Handy, good quality bag.
I've used this bag for 3 months now, carrying 4 K&M tallies, 1 shortie and some PA poles. Easily carries everything and protects it from the usual abuse. Great quality, although it can be a little awkward finding all the compartments to pack it up. Would definitely recommend if you can't afford a hard case.

Classic excellent K&M quality
Not much to say about this bag, it does the job very good, it is a little bit time consuming to put every stand in its compartment but at the end it pays off because the stands don't get scratched and look nice for a very long time.

K&M Mic stand bag 21315
Nicely made, 6 slightly small compartments for mic stands. Velcro tape holds the stands in place. I thought it might be difficult to fit in 6, but the 5 stands which I own have all fitted in nicely. Choice of carrying handle or over the shoulder strap. Should provide good protection for the stands. Worth buying.
