Very good stand
This stand is excellent to let your double bass rest. Excellent stability, overall good quality, very easy to mount.
Pros : stability, quality, reliability, ease of use... and one of the best feature is you DON'T need to unscrew or dismount the endpin of the double bass ; you can adjust the stand so that your double bass fits in it with the endpin out. Very useful for people like me who don't want nor to lose their endpin adjustment, neither wasting the pin as you screw/unscrew it every day.
Cons : can't find any
The price is pretty high but in my opinion it's good value for your money anyway. I wouldn't buy a cheaper one ; I think that about 100 ¤ to ensure your (extremely expensive) instrument won't fall down is pretty fair.

Review of K&M 141 Mk II stand for double bass.
I am very pleased with this stand so far, being used for a 3/4 size double bass.
It has been quite stable when used at home, at show rehearsals and during shows.
The spike holder is very useful and I've felt reasonably confident leaving the instrument unattended.
Also during reheasrsal and shows I have left the instrument in the stand while playing. I was not expecting to be able to do this and it has been especially useful during longer periods of dialogue etc when I was able to sit down.
The stand also folds up to be reasonably compact and lightweight. I have made some small pen marks on the main stem of the stand so it can be returned to the same position each time it is used. Perhaps a small marking system could be introduced for future models.
Upon delivery, I decided rather unusually, especially for a stand, to look at the instructions but could only find in German. I think it would be useful to have these in in other European languages including English.

Not quite satisfied with this product. It's all right it can keep my bass stable but it's not as hard as rock. For me this feature is important because I have an expensive instrument. I play live gigs at outdoor restaurant terrace, and the place is tight, which means my instrument is close to waiters and guests so I just sometimes have a feeling that if someone hits my bass by accident it could swing and intentionally fall off.

For the daily use
I've been using this stand for 6 months now, and havent had a single problem. The only time my doublebass almost fell was because my own fault. I use it to hold the bass on the street and in several times got caught by the rain, not a single spot of rust. Solid and resistant. Best stand I've tried so far and very easy to carry.

Best stand around
We use this for a 1/2 size double bass and it works great!
So stable that my son always wants to play with the bass on the stand.
Younger sisters haven't managed to knock the bass down yet so... very impressed.

König & Meyer double bass stand
Bought a stand like this in the summer of 2012. Really satisfied with ease of use and stability. Developed the habit to grab the bass by the neck and at the endpin and then place the endpin where it is supposed to be located in the stand. Then aligning the bass with the stand and it has never failed. Easy to transport the stand. My second K & M I bought this summer. Works like the other. Though K & M disappointed me in that this stand had a very long scratch in the finish (Z-like, Zorro?) that makes one wonder about QA. This scratch was there right out of the box. Nothing you send back to Thomann from Sweden. That is why K & M do not get more than 4 stars!

Great stand, no problems
I used this for my slimline Thoman 3/4 double bass. It does exactly what you'd expect - affordable price, sturdy, and adjustable enough to hold my bass.

good item
I use it for my db at home and sometimes I brought it with my on the stage.
Very stable and robust, it does its job. The only defect is that it is not so easy, especially at the beginning, to put the db's endpoint in its case.
