I won't be the first to wonder how Ibanez can sell a guitar costing £830 in a gig-bag which is poorly designed, cheaply made and gives no protection or support – in other words, it's simply not fit for purpose. The new IGBQ724-BK finally addresses all these problems and should really be included in the purchase price.

Gran guitarra

Compré la Q52 pensando utilizarla como guitarra de viaje, pero pronto se tornó la guitarra que más uso para tocar con mi banda. Es tan liviana y cómoda que no lo pienso dos segundos antes de ir a ensayar. Temía que me costara acostumbrarme, que fuera muy diferente de una guitarra con headstock, pero la experiencia es muy similar (menos el peso). El brazo es perfecto para mí y el trabajo de los trastes llegó muy bien de fábrica. No desafina jamás y cambiar las cuerdas es muy fácil. Las diez opciones de sonidos es más que suficiente para cualquiera. Los captadores tienen mucha salida. En las posiciones tradicionales, suena diferente que mi LP (algo más brillante), sobre todo porque el circuito preserva los agudos cuando se baja el volumen. Compraría otra si lanzaran una con trémolo!

Sinnvollste Tasche für Ibanez Quest

Die mitglieferte Gigbag für Ibanez Q ist ein Witz. Ein paar obskurere Hersteller gibt es ja, die Taschen für Headless anbieten. Aber die kommen von JWD inkl. Zoll und 80 Euro Versand und sind dann schnell mal bei 300 Euro...

Umso besser, dass Ibanez nun auch eine Tasche anbietet!
Nun hat meine QX52 ein schöneres Zu Hause beim Transport.
Absolut passgenau. Herausnehmbare Polsterelemente, falls man eine andere Headless transportiert.
Polsterung ist sehr dick, ähnlich wie das Thomann SafeCase 80. Und dabei ist die Tasche deutlich kleiner als normale Gigbags, gegenüber dem SafeCase sicher 25cm weniger Höhe.
Schultergurte und Griff sind sehr dick und bequem, besser als das SafeCase.
Tasche stinkt nicht und Reissverschlüsse laufen sauber.
Einziges Manko: Sehr wenig Platz für weiteres. Da muss der Gurt zukünftig in den Rucksack.

Insgesamt genau die Lösung, die ich zum Transport meiner Q gesucht habe.
