Nice, solid security for your prized instruments
I've always been wary of hanging my bass on the wall, out of (irrational maybe) fear of the bass succumbing to the forces of gravity eventually. Well, the fear hasn't subsided, but I had to order one wall hanger since I really wanted to hang my Harley Benton PB-50 in my living room; an awesome bright red body and maple fretboard must be showcased, don't you think?
Anyway, this wall holder seems solid, has a mechanism that allows for a greater deal of safety by using two little arms which rotate when you place your instrument on it, effectively hugging the neck of the instrument and preventing it falling out.
The mechanism works like a charm, these arms can't be rotated once the instrument is on the hanger and they really secure it; I tried to pull my bass off the hanger without lifting it (so the arms won't rotate) and I couldn't make it fall off it. That little test convinced me about the security of my instrument.
The included hardware are of good quality and everything you need in order to install the hanger is included. The wooden base looks beautiful.
Really nice piece of equipment and I'll certainly order another Hercules hanger at some point -- all in all, I'm super satisfied!

Suddenly, my wall looks way cooler.
Got this to save some space on the room and and make use of some unclaimed wall space. They look great, and give it a very suave vibe with my Jazzmaster and Mustang guitars. Not sure if it can hold up a Telecaster, or some other thin headstock design, but for everything Fender-style or Gibson-style, it works like a champ. I did, however, replace the screws the came with it, because the originals seemed far too flimsy to be able to hold up the instruments. More of a bit of healthy paranoia on my part, but hey, I wasn't going to risk it with my gear.
All in all, it's definitely not a purchase I regret, and I'm certainly a customer for life for the brand now.
Thomann was, as usual, amazing with the shipping and caring of the package.

Easy and amazing
It's been up for a couple of days from recieving it and It has stayed solid against the wall with no stability issues. It has frequent unload and load situations where I have had my bass taken down from it and put back up many times a day and it is staying strong,
It is installed on a wooden stud in the wall so there was a straight forward mount procedure (basically just screw it in).
Only thing was, the arms coming out of the base where you mount it, were upside down - all it required was to apply pull pressure and just rotate it so it is the right way up. (The right way up will allow the mechanism to close when there is an instrument on the mount)
I would highly recommend this to others who could do with wall mounts for instruments as it is a great price, high quality and a straightforward setup.

Great Solution
I got this stand as I don't have enough space and I didn't want my children to mess with my bass.
The installation was easy enough, although it was a bit tricky marking the holes on the wall. Even if you place it with a small angle though, the stand has a moving brace that compensates that small difference keeping your guitar/bass always straight up.
After the installation the stand is really sturdy (even more than I hoped for) even using the included plugs, that depends on the type of the wall though and perhaps you will need to use different plugs.
What is really great, is the automatic hooking system which is really convenient making it easy to grab your instrument, play (even for a really quick practice) and put it back while at the same time you feel safe

Sturdy yet elegant
I had short-listed a few wall holders for my guitars. In the end, after watching countless reviews, I decided this Hercules Stand will be the best option.
I must say I wasn't disappointed. I will certainly be buying this wall holder with each new guitar I get.

It can't get any better
I have bought a total of 6 of these. They always have the same quality, they are always easy to mount, they are robust, they work with electric guitars, electric basses and acoustic guitars. In the case of my Gibson, I put a dark cloth around the two sides of the hanger so that the finishing of the Gibson won't go away. And that's it. I can't imagine how anyone could possibly improve on this design and functionality. It is just perfect.

Only hanger brand I really trust.
Tried a few different of these "locking" hangers, and most of them seem very flimsy and flex quite a lot when you hang the guitar up. Not these, feels like you could sit on it without issue, and no flex whatsoever. Super solid.
Also a bonus that it has the pads, for better fitment of thinner neck guitars. Should of just bought the "tried and true" to begin with, would of been cheaper overall.
